Removables

All of our denture and partial bases are crafted from Fricke Hi-I premium acrylic. Routine cases carry a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Immediate cases carry a limited warranty subject to the patient's adherence to a standard checkup schedule.

Randy Underwood, our president and lead technician, has over thirty years of experience with denture finishing. He produces remarkably lifelike finishes, which include naturally occurring muscle attachments and root eminence. He also uses a custom stippling technique to scatter reflective light from the denture or partial base.

Dentures

Our denture teeth are available in all common shades, with custom staining available upon request. All of our dentures are processed at a constant temperature of 165° F for eight hours, producing an impact resistant denture base as well as an optimum bond between the teeth and the base. Our standard posterior setup comes in balanced occlusion, and we offer characterized anterior setup upon request. 

 

We design cast partials in-house, but work with doctor designs as well. Our in-house designs include ample clasping with no additional per-clasp charges. 

Cast Partials

We use Wironium Plus premium cobalt-chrome alloy for all cast partial fabrications. Wironium is similar to a Type III gold and is a high-heat cobalt-chrome system (free of nickel and beryllium). Its flexible strength eases adjustment and creates a better fit, reducing chair time across the board. 

 

We design cast partials in house as well as working with doctors designs. We keep optimum clasp design in mind with no extra per-clasp charge. 

Acrylic Partials

All acrylic partials are fabricated with Fricke Hi-I denture base material. Choose from premium, standard, or economy teeth (see Removablesabove).

 

We can attach any standard clasp, including stainless wrought wire, ball clasps, and Adam's clasps. Clear and tooth colored clasps are available upon request. We always include ample clasping at Underwood Dental Lab, and we do not charge per clasp. 

 

Note: We offer an interim/healing partial for temporary use and treatment planning. Costs for these appliances are kept to a minimum by using economy teeth and reducing the number of clasps.

FRS Flexible Partials

The FRS flexible resin system is a semi-crystalline nylon composition that is injection-molded. These partials serve as a monomer-free alternative to conventional acrylic partials. The flexibility of the integrated clasps (available in clear, tissue, or tooth shades) can be customized according to the patient's needs.

 

Note: The patient must have adequate vertical space for this appliance. Because of the injection process, an FRS flexible partial cannot be repaired or receive additional teeth. For more detailed information, please contact us.
